The Diamond Chapter February meeting will be held this Sunday, February 24, at Smokin N Style BBQ.
Be there at 1:30 to eat. Order your food. We will be in the banquet room. Meeting will be around 2:00.
The weather will 59 or so, no rain. Ride your bike if you want. Some up coming events to talk about.
Hope to see you there.

Last meeting was the chili cook off. We had some great chili and a good turn out. Linda Bright won first place.
It was a fun meeting. Thanks to Lanny and Brenda for your hospitality.
See minutes for more details.

ABATE swap meet was held at the Little Rock fair grounds. Greg Bright and I set up a booth to promote the club.
We did hand out a lot of flyers for the September show and talked to a lot of people. The bike show had a barn
find Indian , 1947 I think , that was really cool. Also a Harley Knucklehead and a 1971 Harley FLH. The bike show was small and less venders that last year.
I wish ABATE well but they need more venders and people. Maybe next year.

The meeting was held at Brenda and Lanny Plummer’s home along with a club chili cook off. There were 17 members and guests present with 6 competing batches of chili.

Susie Parker sold 50/50 tickets. The chili cook off tasting, voting and eating occurred first and the meeting followed. Mike Parker presented a lively round of trivia with Lanny Plummer the clear winner. Linda Bright won the 50/50 drawing.

Mike Thomson opened the meeting. There were no Minutes from the Christmas party. Susie Parker gave the Treasurer’s report. Mike gave an overview of the Christmas party. He also discussed the Abate swap meet to be held February 9 & 10 at the State Fairgrounds in Little Rock.

Other upcoming events were announced. Several members plan to attend the Texas Fandango and the Cherokee National Road Run in early April. Complete details are available on the Cherokee Chapter website.

Makes Arkansas weather look pretty good.
Just remember no one retires up north.

Well winter is almost gone. So let’s plain some rides or just get together for some fun.
So get those motorcycles cleaned up and running.
