Motor Maids Event
The Motor Maids event was held at Peti Jean park on Sept. 30th. The Motor Maids had a large turn out with members from several States. They had bike games on the parade field and other events.
Scott Byrd displayed his 1913 Harley Davidson Cannonball bike along with his 1929 Harley and 1942 Harley WLA.
Butch Jones displayed his 1942 Harley WLA also.
Fun was had by all.
Thanks, Motor Maids

The NTNOA Rally was held at Diamond Don RV Park in Jefferson. I have been going to this rally for years and always
have great time. I know lots of people there and it’s like old friends week. Did not do a lot of riding more socializing.
Motorcycle show was Saturday. I got a first place with my Triumph Hurricane and a second place with the BMW R90S.
We had a great time and the weather was perfect.
Barber’s Vintage Festival
Jed Simpson, Mike Racicot , Al Jack, Greg Huegel and Mike Thomson went to Barbers’ Vintage Festival. We got a great camping spot and the weather was great Friday and Saturday. Friday was the swap meet day. we spent all day there, so much to look at. Apple Jack bought a few things for his Sprint.
Saturday we all went to the museum. They have added on to the worlds largest and best motorcycle museum.
You could spend all day there and not see it all. New motorcycles and more exhibits to look at. We had a great day.
The weather started looking bad so we decided to leave Saturday afternoon. Good thing we did. Leeds got really hammered that night.
You must visit Barber’s Museum sometime. Put it on your bucket list.
I will be going back next year.
Veterans Honor Ride
The 4th Annual Arkansas Honor Ride was Saturday, October 7th. Riders met at Rock City Harley Davidson and rode to the Veterans Memorial in Hot Springs. Scott Byrd rode his awesome 1942 Harley Davidson WLA. Another antique bike making the ride was a cool BSA ridden by Allen Jenkins. Greg Bright set up a club display with a banner and 1960 Harley Davidson Servicar. The ceremonies began with the USAF Color Guard from LRAFB presenting the colors. Following the opening prayer, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, was a good message given by Jan Morgan. The event ended with the laying of a wreath at the memorial. It was very reverent and patriotic ( there were no anti-American Communists taking a knee as is the fad at football games nowadays). All proceeds go to the Brooke Army Hospital in San Antonio,TX. It was a great day and a great event. Thanks Wendell Roberts and all involved for an excellent job and for allowing the Diamond Chapter to take part.                                                                                                                                                  – Greg Bright
