“Antique Motorcycles in the Park ”

The 10th Annual ” Antique Motorcycles in the Park” was held on September 9th at Hill Wheatley Plaza.

What a great show with  86 motorcycles on display. The oldest was Scott Byrd’s 1916 Harley Davidson Cannonball motorcycle along with his 1929 Harley and a 1942 Harley Davidson WLA military.

There was a great variety of makes and models. The Minsk motorcycle made in Russia was unique and rare.

The 1935 Rudge was rare. Rudge stopped production in 1941. Plenty of Harley Davidson’s, Honda’s, Yamaha’s, Suzuki, BSA, Royal Enfield, and more.

There was a large crowd all day with lots of good comments and plenty of questions.

” I had one of them a long time ago wish i still had it ” seemed to be the saying for the day. The weather could not have been better, no rain and not to hot, just perfect.

We had several vintage motorcycles just ride up and put their bikes in the show and stay all day.

A special thanks to everyone who brought multiple motorcycles. we all know how much work that is.

Special Thanks to those who came from out of state for the show.

The show also made the front page of the Sentinel Record with a interview with Scott Byrd and Michael Thomson.

What a great show and a great day with great people looking and talking about old motorcycles.

We will do it again next year, see you there.
