Steele Horse Rally:
The 3rd annual Steel Horse Rally was held May 5 & 6 in Ft. Smith. It is promoted by Dennis Snow and honors all military, law enforcement, and first respondents. The money raised goes to local charities. The Diamond Chapter was represented with a display of antique motorcycles and a booth manned by Butch and Pat Jones and Linda and Greg Bright. There was a steady crowd looking at the motorcycles and expressing interest in our club. We handed out a lot of fliers for the Antique Motorcycles In The Park show and told people who we are and what we’re about. Pictures of the rally can be viewed on the Facebook pages of ThunderTV.net and TheSteelHorseRally.com, also there are a number of videos posted on You Tube of the parade.(I had the privilege of riding the Servicar at the head of the parade behind Dennis and Karen Snow) It was a great event and a lot of fun. Thank you Dennis, Karen, and all involved for the hard work in putting on this great rally. -Greg Bright
Susie and I had a great time in Luckenbach Texas at the Hill Country Run.
The Combats Vets poker run was a lot of fun. Jed Simpson and me road on the run. After we left Bubba’s Brew we saw four Camels in a field, Jed took some pictures. The run ended at Terry Martain’s . We did not win at poker but had a good time and a great ride.
Club Dues are due in June. $15.00 per person.
The Mini Road Run will be here before you know it so get those little bikes up and running.
See you at the MT. Ida Good ole’ Days.
